Hi, I'm Ardi.

By day, I earn my living in the accounting and finance sector. My daily routine revolves around numbers, ledgers, tax compliance, and navigating enterprise systems like SAP. It’s a job that demands structure, detail, and logic—principles that unexpectedly carried over into my personal hobby.

When I’m off the clock, I spend my spare time tinkering with technology, specifically self-hosting. What started as simple curiosity about data privacy evolved into a hands-on hobby. Instead of relying entirely on mainstream cloud platforms, I enjoy setting up and managing my own digital tools.

This website, along with the private services I use daily—like Nextcloud for storage, Vaultwarden for passwords, and Affine for notes—are all deployed using Docker containers on top of an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) instance.

This website, which I call the Ledger, functions as my personal digital garden. It is an independent, quiet corner on the internet where I document my learning process. The notes published here are a mix of what occupies my mind: from practical accounting workflows and tax notes to Docker compose snippets and personal observations on financial markets like XAUUSD and Bitcoin.

I am simply someone who enjoys the balance of both—managing numbers by day, and hosting services by night.
